This is definitely now Chelsea’s best starting XI

New-look: This is definitely now Chelsea’s best starting XI

Chelsea supporters in the Transfer Tavern are pleased that they’ve recruited players in key positions.
Our resident Blues fans are somewhat torn regarding the summer transfer window. Regarding the additions made to Conte’s starting eleven, there has been a significant increase in quality in comparison to last season.
Alvaro Moarta, Antonio Rudiger and Tiemoue Bakayoko all provide longevity, they also offer experience and quality in abundance.
The issue lies with squad depth, five first-team additions have been made by the Premier League Champions while almost 40 players have departed the Blues this summer.
Indeed, if prominent first-team members are injured, then the Champions will be left in a precarious situation. This is why the deadline day arrivals of Davide Zappacosta and Danny Drinkwater were so crucial, as they provide invaluable cover in two critical positions.
Here is Chelsea’s best starting eleven…
The tall Belgian has established himself as one of the most capable keepers in the world; he often produces world-class saves.

He’ll be needed as Chelsea look to compete on the European stage.
Arguably the best bargain in the Premier League, the Spaniard is without doubt Chelsea’s best defender.
In the absence of Gary Cahill, his leadership will be key.

CB: David Luiz

The Brazilian has played with a greater sense of maturity since his return to Stamford Bridge.
He has turned into a cornerstone of this team.
Rudiger has established himself as one of Germany’s most exciting defensive prospects; he’s exceedingly robust and athletic.
He’ll be competing with Gary Cahill for this spot.
The 25-year-old is regarded for his terrific crossing ability, which will be of great benefit to the likes of Morata.
Victor Moses won’t be easy to displace, but it’s likely to happen with time.
Arguably the best defensive midfielder in world football, Kante is here, there and everywhere!
His defensive work is simply remarkable.
The Spaniard is arguably the best passer of the ball in the Premier League, his vision is unrivalled, and his passing range is excellent.
Tiemoue Bakayoko will feature against the bigger, more competitive sides – but his creativity is key.
Bolton’s former defender had a terrific first season for Chelsea, scoring a total of six goals. He’s started the season in similar form with a brace against Spurs.
What a signing.
Barcelona’s former winger has scored several indelible goals for the Blues as he aims for more during his third season as a Chelsea player.
Willian will be hot on his tail.
The Spaniard has had a terrific start to his Chelsea career, two goals and two assists in three league games – all with his head too!
He’s only getting started.
Many people consider the Belgian to be the best talent in the Premier League, the Blues’ most valuable player.
His return is on the horizon.
